Grasssubmitted by Sandra F. - |Recommended: YesIt’s a great place to live but up where I live at build 40 they haven’t come to even try to cut the grass so right now it’s over grown a bit. And it also seems they haven’t come in not sure how long to clean the inside of the hallway of our build.
It’s a safe community, with all you can possibly needsubmitted by Cathy P. - |Recommended: YesIt’s home
Averagesubmitted by Robert P. - |Recommended: YesIts your standard apartment buildings. I would give everything an average rating. The staff and Maintenance people were friendly and always helpful. I am neither pleased nor dissatisfied with my 15 months of living here.
Convenient place to live submitted by Carolyn H. - |Recommended: Yesmaintenance is great , they reply quickly and efficiently. I would choose where i live wisely, my upstairs neighbors and loud , dirty and inconsiderate . Everyone else in my building is friendly and considerate of one another.
Living at Overlooksubmitted by Allison H. - |Recommended: YesIt is great living here. The community is spread out so it does not feel like you're living on top of one another while at the same time you are close enough to your neighbors that you can build relationships with them as long as you are lucky to have great ones The updates that are happening are long overdue. The roof was needed, however, the guys were VERY messy and left a large quantity of nails throughout the property which is dangerous for our pets and our vehicles. Some buildings, mine included, are long overdue for some TLC. The carpet walls in the stairwells have been updated, however, the rest of the apartments themselves are very outdated. My garage looks like an unfinished basement with rusted exposed pipes, spotty spackle jobs covering nails in dried out sheet rock the garage door frame is coming off the wall. My only suggestion is that you treat all the tenants homes the same. Whether you are paying 1100 per month or 2500 per month. Everyone who lives here calls this home and we each deserve a well maintained home.
Expensive but not badsubmitted by Caroline A. - |Recommended: YesPricey, but quite and has good amenities. Maintenance can take a while and communication between the call center and on site management can be an issue. Lots of hidden fees.
The property is very nice, although cars seem to speed in the back of buildings when pulling out of garage.submitted by Janet L. - |Recommended: YesThe property is well maintained. Snow is plowed immediately and quite impressive round the clock until completed. It is very peaceful here.
Reviewsubmitted by Nicola I. - |Recommended: Yesyes I like living her patient staff and good maintance worker
I'm definitely getting my money's worth submitted by Gregory P. - |Recommended: YesI moved to Overlook at Flanders in December 2017 and I've been very satisfied. The follow-up and notifications of all the events have been great. Even with the snow days I knew that the grounds people would have the snow cleared off in a timely manner. Parking can get a little busy at times, but there's definitely some options on where to park. It's a quiet neighborhood and everyone does their part to make sure to remain respectful to the other neighbors. I'm looking forward to staying here for a while.
I hear my neighbor threw the wall going up and down the stairs submitted by Lydia E. - |Recommended: YesI like it it is nice the apartment but my upstairs neighbors make alot of noise going up and down the stairs they don't even try to make less nosie
It's a nice place to live.submitted by Rachel M. - |Recommended: YesI would tell them to check it out. The floor plans are ideal and you get a good amount for your money. Wish the upgrades were available to existing residents.
It is ok, however it could be better. things that were broken when i moved still broke even I called for it.submitted by Martha V. - |Recommended: NoI will tell them to make sure what they sign because right not w they are charge me Convergent Fee of 3.50 and they never told me that. Also to make sure they do not move until they check good the apartment and they do not find nothing broken.
Greatsubmitted by Enid M. - |Recommended: Yesnice, clean and snow plowing is on point.
Could be better submitted by Justin J. - |Recommended: NoFor the most part it is ok. New appartments are average but kitchens are super small, if you move here bring the minimum with you. I don't like that I can hear my neighbors, also neighbors with dogs don't pick up after their dogs waste. When my girlfriend and I moved here in November of 2017 we were told the new gym will be up and running by February, so far its almost March and we see no progress with the gym, we paid an anual fee for amenities that we are not using. No one maintain the hallways in the buildings apparently because it can get messy at times. You will pay gas, water and electric, water and electricity is not so bad but the gas it's expensive. I don't know if we are going to renew the lease if they raise the rent it's already too expensive.
Great Apartment Living, Slightly Overpricedsubmitted by Jonathan I. - |Recommended: YesThe apartment and village is quite good in quality. Spacious, good appliances and features, and overall pretty setup. The garage door is a great plus in the winter. The maintenance staff is quick to respond and is helpful. The neighborhood town is quite quiet and peaceful which is good or bad depending on preference. However, do be prepared for a relatively high rent, as well as being nickeled and dimed for every utility as well as 25 a month for trash removal.
